The British are a bunch of bastards but they're our bastards and I want them to stay.
The debate seemed crazy. A lot of scaremongering. Especially on the side of Vote Leave trying to scare the public with immigrants. Not to mention some crazy brexiter killing an MP. WTF?
It seems the world in general is turning right wing. People are more polarised. I places like the US, with Trump becoming a presidential candidate saying things he's been saying. Places like Turkey, Poland, Russia or Hungary becoming more radical in their xenophobia. The mess in the Middle East.
What do you lot think will happen when the UK leaves EU? Will other countries follow? Will Scotland break away from the UK and try to stay in the EU?
Here's a few interesting points.
Leaving single market seems problematic for the UK and it doesn't look like Vote Leave campaigners realise what kind of mess they're getting themselves into.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

A drunk lady came up to me afterwards and asked if I was voting "no" to Europe (the question was should the UK leave or remain in the EU so no wouldn't have been a legitimate answer). I smugly stated that I voted to remain, and she staggered in surprise before wandering off silently. Was odd to say the least. I had to vote in a Catholic church, so in the back of my mind I did expect to see something fucked up.

if constructive debate is allowed to progress, better ideas will ultimately supplant worse ideas.
So far as my predictions. I think that someone somewhere on the internet is going to make a flooding/election rigging conspiracy theory in the next few days.
From the number of voters in the LoR poll, most people on LoR chose option three - by not voting.
Kindest regards,

Not just Scotland; Northern Ireland too. The united kingdom of England and maybe Wales has a wonderful ring to it. Thank fuck Charles won't have to change his name when the queen dies.

Scotland will almost certainly go it alone to remain in the EU.
I'm not sure whether NI will follow suit - I think the protestant/loyalists might still hold sway.
My brother voted for Brexit - he believes that the ... "UK" ... will be alright - they'll still trade with Ireland and the EU.
Kindestr regards,
James

I went to buy a pint of milk this morning. The cashier decided to take the screwed up ball of receipts, wrappers, pocket fluff, and detritus over the £5 note I offered

Wasting your time then, for all the attention the "Gordon Gekko motherfuckers" pay to legal issues.
