Don't confuse talent for skill and hard work. Not trying to take away from these excellent pieces of work (!), but if you worked for the next 5 years with photoshop and tried to produce similar pieces what do you think you'd end up? You'd be an expert photoshop user and you'd likely have at least 200 different pieces of art if you produced 1 a week.

No idea how this has eluded me for this long... Maybe cuz I'm not creative so I never come to this murky part of town... In any case Austra, do I have your permission to use one of those on my FB profile? I'll credit you, no mistake.

I know that these are not fancy smancy computer generated pics but I felt the need to share anyway....... Call me slightly old fashioned but I have an affinity for the real deal. ;)

Although, I suppose Austra's pic up there could be a rough estimate of a Venus transit type of scenario. ^ :D I like it.
There is still light in the 'Earthly' darkness. Finding light in the darkness can be more satisfying than merely seeing the glaring light of our sun. It gives us a better understanding of light and a deeper understanding of our universe.

That pic looks surprisingly familiar. Is it, by any chance, based on a moon or other?

Any similarities to Europa are strictly coincidental. Kind of.
