Forum rules

Once an issue has been solved or a satisfactory conclusion has been achieved (by discussion or an administrator decision) threads will be locked to prevent them being bumped.

Do not expect that your suggestion will be implemented regardless of how good you think your idea it is. There are many factors as to why something may be dismissed. The thread will have been locked for good reason, and your thread should serve as a reminder to others that the suggestion has already been made and implemented or dismissed.

Post Politics and Law Subsection

Thought it would be a good idea to create a 'Business' or 'Business and Economics' subforum under 'Politics and Law'. To me, it makes sense to try and attract some people who have an intimate understanding of a subject that is so central to human society. I'm inclined to say it should be a subsection of the 'Science and Mathematics' forum but I'm willing to take the easy sell...

Sounds like it would fit better under "pseudoscience" or "conspiracy theories" than anywhere else... or if you keep throwing around the term "free markets" it could go under "religion"? 8-)

Maybe if you're talking about all the pseudo-business that flies around this place. Real business is objective and empirical. I should show you the control model from business management. I haven't looked at it for a bit but it's about as close as you can get to applying the scientific method to business processes...

Business & Economics will be the name of the sub-forum. Don't see any problem with implementing this so I shall do it now.
