Change to Strict guidelines

Forum rules

Once an issue has been solved or a satisfactory conclusion has been achieved (by discussion or an administrator decision) threads will be locked to prevent them being bumped.

Do not expect that your suggestion will be implemented regardless of how good you think your idea it is. There are many factors as to why something may be dismissed. The thread will have been locked for good reason, and your thread should serve as a reminder to others that the suggestion has already been made and implemented or dismissed.

Post Change to Strict guidelines

Remove the "other user's" part in:

- DO NOT disseminate other users' personal information.

... as this may include none user's of LoR too it seems.

Add to strict guidelines or General tips:
- The rules apply even when you post a pm to moderator to explain your position. The alleged materials used for your defence in a pm, can be seen as an offence.

(Not dissing here, but being constructive and helpfull)

You have to use this.
if constructive debate is allowed to progress, better ideas will ultimately supplant worse ideas.

Comment is free, but facts are sacred

I would have thought that it would have been common sense not to post someones personal info regardless of whether they were members of this forum or not. I'm sure AW and Spork don't have the time to add caveats to every rule 'just in case'.
