Post Movie making, open source style

Animation film Sintel, created entirely with the open source Blender suite has just been released. The film is licensed under creative commons so you can fiddle with it yourself.

The film is freely available for download at Sintel.org in HD or standard-def, or you can pre-order a DVD here if you want to show your support. Blender is freely available here if you're inspired.

It's also on youtube. Enjoy.

if constructive debate is allowed to progress, better ideas will ultimately supplant worse ideas.
