Post Uwe Boll's "Rampage"

The movie, that is. As far as I'm aware he didn't literally go on a rampage...

It was actually interesting. I mean, it's violence porn, but the lightweight plot that backdropped it was actually kind of good. The acting wasn't all that, but I can't attribute that to Boll, mostly it was the crazy Sarah Palin clone mother that turned me away there. They also make a point of noting that the entire film was improv - and the jarring camera work is a typical cinematic effect to keep you feeling unsure, used properly here.

It's available streaming on Netflix. This gave me a new respect for the bastard - if he can keep on like this he could be good. Just keep him away from my video games.

On a side note, doesn't it seem like you would have to TRY to fuck up a video game plot? I mean, most games aren't even B movie material...
Why does my life have to be so small
And death is forever
And does forever have a life to call its own?
Don't give me an answer cause you only know
As much as I know
Unless you've been there once
And I hardly think so

Uwe Boll made something that's actually watchable? I'll be damned.
