Never played Left4Dead tbh, I prefer TF2 and HL2. =D And all the free mods which come with HL2 of course.

Although apparently I'm still using cheap classes too much - but I love using pyro.

The classes are there to be played, nobody should be able to moan about you playing a particular class, they all make up a different aspect of the game. Anyone who complains about you playing a certain class obviously doesn't know how to play well enough to combat against that class.

Still, I aim to use a larger variety of classes now, it tends to be more enjoyable anyway.

The other group was started when we were still on the old forum-and therefore before the official one was even made. It says it was made on the 22nd February but the official one was made on the 28th April.

If I really really love scissors, and you like rock, I will be understandably unhappy.

Anyone who complains about you playing a certain class obviously doesn't know how to play well enough to combat against that class. I both agree and disagree with this. I complain (mostly to myself) about some classes when playing on public servers, for instance engineers when stacked (three or more) are extremely hard to take down without cooperating, which in itself is very hard to achieve on public servers. So they are very much more powerful than any other class played at a low level. Also, this makes for a very lame gameplay, as it locks very big parts of the map from access, and automatically kills anyone who is not very familiar with the sounds etc. On the other hand, it's just a game, play what ever you like. Don't expect that anyone will want to play with you if you're playing engineer/sniper/spy every game though. As for the cheap classes, I would not call them cheap ones, but there are quite a few classes that are easy to learn and VERY easy to master (in comparison to the majority of other classes). For instance, playing an engineer at full capacity can be achieved while watching a movie and scratching somebodies back. One class I do think is given undue hate for being "easy" is pyro. While they are fairly easy to be effective at, when you face good opponents you must both be skilled and quite recoursefull to win. The whole game is a massive rock paper scissors game... If I really really love scissors, and you like rock, I will be understandably unhappy. I would have loved for this to be true, but at a high level it's rock v rock pretty much. Everyone plays the same setup. As for the none-pro-scene it's more like rock scissor paper sni.... (sniper for you nullchaners) and LAZORTURRET. Anyways, enough of a game analysis from a none-pro for now. I'll be joining the group tomorrow night, I'm steamnamed cp_Joseph and "I look forward to killing each and every single one of you" (I play a soldier as mainclass if you don't recognize the quote)

Portal seems to be free at the moment, for those of you who haven't already got it.
