I haven't played this game yet, but after listening to the soundtrack from this game (and after watching a few video game reviews), this is on the top of my 'to play' list:

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim teaser theme:

^^Okami is a wonderful game. I still have my PS2 copy and I also got the Wii version when it came out. I highly recommend either one.

Have to bump this. I can't believe nobody brought up Kingdom Hearts music.

My personal favorite:

Fate of the Unknown

And others:

Darkness of the Unknown

Another Side

Passion - Orchestral version

Hikari - Orchestral version

Night of Fate

The Deep End

Rage Awakened

Vanitas Theme - Final battle version

Hollow Bastion theme - KH1 version

And my favorite vocal track:

Passion

Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War was a reasonably innovative game at the time, combining third person and RTS and it had a good soundtrack. But it fell into obscurity with its fairly mediocre actual gameplay. It's actually been made available for free at GamersHell.

As for today's games, I'll pick this :)

I've never played Red alert 3, but i like the music. This sounds epic enough to be like an authentic Soviet march, but the lyrics are jumbled and make no sense.

Mech2 Mercs. Easily the best game in the franchise with easily the best soundtrack. Here's a sample.

Ah yes, And that song aways sounds better to a military march IMO

To Zanarkand
i think this is one of the best games ever made, at least to me. I was pretty young when I first played it, but the one thing that stuck in my head was the music! I spent quite a bit of time figuring it out on my piano. There's also a version with a whole symphony on youtube somewhere.

I also love pretty much anything from Ocarina of Time. Saria's song and the Gerudo Valley theme are my favorites!
