I haven't played this game yet, but after listening to the soundtrack from this game (and after watching a few video game reviews), this is on the top of my 'to play' list:

^^Okami is a wonderful game. I still have my PS2 copy and I also got the Wii version when it came out. I highly recommend either one.

Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War was a reasonably innovative game at the time, combining third person and RTS and it had a good soundtrack. But it fell into obscurity with its fairly mediocre actual gameplay. It's actually been made available for free at GamersHell.
I've never played Red alert 3, but i like the music. This sounds epic enough to be like an authentic Soviet march, but the lyrics are jumbled and make no sense.

To Zanarkand i think this is one of the best games ever made, at least to me. I was pretty young when I first played it, but the one thing that stuck in my head was the music! I spent quite a bit of time figuring it out on my piano. There's also a version with a whole symphony on youtube somewhere.
I also love pretty much anything from Ocarina of Time. Saria's song and the Gerudo Valley theme are my favorites!
