Post Re: LoR theme song

I also consider this my personal theme song.

I used to buy my faith in worship, but then my chance to get to Heaven sli-i-pped.
I used to worry about the future, but then I threw my caution to the wind.
I had no reason to be carefree (no no no) 'til I took a trip to the other side of town (yeah yeah yeah).
You know I heard that boogie rhythm - hey! - I had no choice but to get down, down, down, down.

CHORUS

Dance, nothing left for me to do but dance.
All these bad times I'm going through, just dance.
Got canned heat in my heels tonight, baby.

I feel the thunder, see the lightning - I know this anger's heaven-sent.
So I've got to hang out all my hang-ups, because on the boogie I feel so hell-bent.
It's just an instant gut reaction that I got. I know I never ever felt like this before.
I dont know what to do, but then that's nothing new.
Stuck between Hell and high water, I need a cure to make it through.

CHORUS

*continues*

Either that or this, just because it's epic awesome and is quite possibly the greatest theme music ever:

I'll see that and raise you a ukulele orchestra.

THIS!!

The Logical Song. Complete with chipmunks, fast cars, cheesy models, and cliche dance music.

I don't think so, BoundToTell.

A song where they wonder how shit works and then refuse to talk to a scientist "because they're liars and pissing [them] off" automatically fails the cut.

Is it even possible for one song to span the grandeur? Here's one for science, one for religion, one for philosophy and one for the holidays.

Perhaps not a great theme song for the LoR but it's still quite funny

Got my vote.

Aside from the other laudable qualities, tidbits of this can easily be played as an opening or in the background without being a distraction.

EDIT: it's got a certain rainbow road feel to it, doesn't it?

This was just posted by Rebecca Watson on skepchick. Probably not hard-hitting enough but it might fit the bill, especially if we wanted to trick people into coming here with the help of cute girls...
